Terror In The North Tower
Writing a book is difficult but to be able to intertwine a story with the career field of respiratory therapy that she has worked in for years, is quite unique.
The book and characters are based in a small city hospital Emergency Room, ICU and Respiratory Unit where there appears to be a stark increase in deaths happening at the hospital.
The doctors and nurses are overworked and there are questions as to whether the increased number of deaths are the work of some sinister someone or due to the hospital staff being overworked and making dreadful mistakes.
With a large cast of characters coming and going from day to day in the Emergency Room, ICU and Respiratory Unit, you will find yourself going through the names of the doctors and nurses, while sorting through the twists and turns in the story, as you try to solve the mysteries of what is happening in St. Lore’s Hospital in Oakes, Colorado.
The local police are called to investigate and sort through the comings and goings of the large numbers of workers that are employed by the hospital. Finally, the police finish their investigation and they feel they have enough evidence to arrest the killer.
Follow along in this murder mystery from the arrest of a suspect to the court room proceedings and trial and a final verdict.
For a first time writer, I think Alicia did a great job keeping her characters and the plot going smoothly throughout the book and keeping us in suspense right up until the end.
I’m looking forward to another murder mystery from Alicia.
