Weekly Writing Prompt 8-29-2017
Why is it that the older we get, the faster the weeks seem to pass by? It’s Tuesday again and I still haven’t written from a Weekly Writing Prompt in weeks. I guess with a wedding coming up in the family, there’s more distraction than normal but here is the Weekly Writing Prompt 8-29-2017.
My daughter is getting married again this week. I think she’s found a good one the second time around, like I did. I’ll have some pictures to share next week.
As always, there are three writing prompts. Write a short piece for one or all three. It’s your choice.
(Writing Prompts are provided by: Writing.com ) (Aff.)
(1) Write a story about a court judge and how he/she judges a controversial case.
(2) The longest minute I’ve ever known.
(3) Write about the formation of an unlikely friendship.

Last week’s Weekly Writing Prompt 8-22-2017
Wishing everyone a wonderful and productive week.
P.S. Remember to save the pieces you write. Start your “Writing Portfolio.” You never know when something you’ve written will work for something else you may be writing.
“We live and breathe words. …. It was books that made me feel that perhaps I was not completely alone. They could be honest with me, and I with them. Reading your words, what you wrote, how you were lonely sometimes and afraid, but always brave; the way you saw the world, its colors and textures and sounds, I felt–I felt the way you thought, hoped, felt, dreamt. I felt I was dreaming and thinking and feeling with you. I dreamed what you dreamed, wanted what you wanted–and then I realized that truly I just wanted you.” ―Cassandra Clare
